I am pleased to advise you that our Employee and Family Assistance Program provider (Interlock) has added the following services for your access:

Information and Advisory Services

· Childcare -obtain information from Interlock regarding the licensed childcare providers in the area

· Eldercare - recognizing the stress that the 'sandwich generation' experiences as they try to help their aging parents, while raising their own children and working. Interlock provides counselling for families struggling with these demands as well as providing information and referral assistance for community senior’s resources, services, day and residential care facilities.

· Provided by Registered Dietician (RD)

· Food Diary Completion and Review

· Follow-up Coaching

Legal Advisory & Referral Services

· Access to free legal consultation with a lawyer with expertise in the area requested

· 30 minute telephone consultation and appropriate referrals

· Focus is on getting out of financial trouble and immediate problem solving

Financial Planning Service

· Telephone consultation and appropriate referrals

· RRSP planning, tax planning

· Budgeting, savings, home purchase

· Asset allocation strategies, etc.

· No investment advice or sales

Quitcare Smoking Cessation

· Telephone counseling sessions with a professional counselor

· Interactive workbook exercises

· Establish “Quit Date” through the process

· Follow-up after “Quit Date”

· Booster sessions
