The Board of Education of School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) is pleased to announce that Heather Rose has been appointed Vice-Principal of Wiltse Elementary School, effective August 1, 2010.

This past year, Heather has been a Grade 4-5 teacher at Trout Creek Elementary School.  Prior to that, she has been a teacher at various schools in the district, including Columbia Elementary and Snowden Elementary.  As well, for the past four years, Heather has been a District Helping Teacher, providing support to schools and educators in the area of literacy and school completion.  She is also principal of SD67 Elementary Summer School for 2010.   

Heather has a Master of Arts and Leadership Administration from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Education Degree (Elementary) from the University of Victoria.

We congratulate Heather on her new appointment.
