The Board of Education and the City of Penticton have committed to improve the availability of information related to rental of gymnasia and field usage.  Information obtained on this site will be updated over the 2008-09 year.

Procedures for Renting SD67 Facilities 

School District 67 facilities and fields are available for rental when not required for school district use.  All rentals require a completed Rental Agreement form, proof of insurance prior to the rental activity (required $2,000,000 general liability), and payment of rental fees (usually a 50% deposit although if the amount is small then full payment is required).  For information related to the purchase of insurance, please contact SBC Insurance Agencies Ltd., 1-877-992-2288. 

Gymnasium Rentals 

For Penticton elementary school gymnasiums Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:00 and 10:00 p.m.:

School Fields Rentals

City of Penticton Recreation Department (250-490-2437) arranges for rentals of all school fields in Penticton.  Schools have use of their fields until 6:00 p.m. and must arrange through the City's Recreation Department for field rentals after 6:00 p.m. or on a weekend. The Ecole Entre Lac and Carmi fields are rented by the City of Penticton.

Summerland school fields are booked through Summerland Recreation (250-494-0447).  Naramata and Kaleden fields are booked through the Board Office (250-770-7700).

Notes:
1.   Additional charge for lights at sports complex at $15.00/hour.

2.   Rates are established based on rental for days schools are in session and custodian being at the school during regular shift.

3.   Labour and equipment in excess of normal set up and cleaning will be in addition to the above charges.

4.   Maximum daily rate is 8 hours.

5.   Rental of large classrooms such as music, library and multipurpose will be charged at double the classroom rate.
